We're starting Wednesday down a man as Brenden Moore heads to the South Side to see if the Sox can clinch their ALDS series at home. Game starts at 3 p.m. We'll report back if he finds out who's going to be throwing out the first pitch.

Today's read: IML takes aim at another state fee

You've long heard them talk about LGDF. But as we gear up for another veto session ahead of the next General Assembly, the Illinois Municipal League will also set their sites on TCAF.

That's the Tax Compliance Administrative Fund, a 1.5% fee the Department of Revenue collects on municipalities. Ben Szalinski talks to IML's Brad Cole about why the fee will be a point of focus next year.
