30-Day Free Trial
CNI Insider is offering a 30-day free trial for eligible memberships started between Oct. 5 and Nov. 30, 2026. You may cancel at any time during your free trial at no charge. Cancellation during the trial is effective immediately, and you will not be charged.
Introductory Membership Rate
Members who sign up for the promotional offer through Nov. 30, 2026 will receive a one-year CNI Insider membership at the introductory rate of $99/year following completion of the 30-day free trial. Unless you cancel before your trial ends, the payment method on file will automatically be charged $99 at the conclusion of your trial.
Membership Pricing
The $99 annual rate is an introductory one-year membership rate and is not a guaranteed renewal rate. Membership pricing is subject to change for new sign-ups or upon renewal after Nov. 30, 2026.
Automatic Renewal
Unless you cancel before your renewal date, your annual membership will automatically renew at the then-current membership rate, and the payment method on file will be charged. Before each annual renewal, CNI will email the address associated with your membership at least 30 days before your renewal date with the upcoming charge amount and date and instructions for canceling.
Price Changes
If the price applicable to your membership changes, CNI will notify you by email before the new price is charged. You will have the opportunity to cancel your membership before the new rate takes effect on your account.
Canceling During Your Free Trial
You may cancel at any time during your 30-day free trial at no charge. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.
Canceling Your Annual Membership
You may cancel your annual membership at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current, already-paid membership term. Your Insider access will continue through the end of your current billing period.
Renewal Reminders
CNI will send a renewal reminder to the email address associated with your account at least 30 days before each annual renewal. The notice will include your renewal date, the amount to be charged and information about how to cancel. Your renewal date will also be included in the footer of CNI Insider's twice-weekly newsletter.
Republishing Exclusions
You may not republish our standalone Capitol News Recap, Capitol News Insider, Daily Digest or other newsletter content. Likewise, any content appearing on a page that requires the reader to sign in, including the Capitol News Insider page, is not available for republish. If something is available for republishing, it will either include a “republish” button on the page or be made available via Capitol News Illinois pressroom. No exceptions.
