The lead: Good Bears timing
Ben Szalinski and Brenden Moore already had an election-focused interview with Gov. JB Pritzker on the schedule Thursday when the news came out that the governor, legislative leaders and Pat Ryan had a meeting with Roger Goodell.
We'll have more on that meeting on Monday when Insider officially goes live. But the timing allowed us a little mini scoop, giving us a chance to put Pritzker on the record. Here's what we got that the other outlets didn't.
